Hi @John Davis ,

Hope you are doing fine.

I believe in the MS project file you have the resource as an assignee to task. When you import the project gets imported but the assignee does not. If this is the correct understanding of the issue then I would suggest you to check if the same resource exist in ServiceNow and also the resource should be active.

This issue is seen when the resource exist but not active or the resource does not exist in ServiceNow.

Hope this resolves the issue and if it does please mark the response as correct to help me & other community members.

Have a Great Sunday!

Thank You!

Hello  Just wanted to follow back up with my issue.  The resources in MS Project are the resources in servicenow instance.  I am using the same naming convention.  I am still not able to import the MS Project file with the resource information.  I have an open HiWave case open.

@John Davis It would be helpful if you could share some screenshots or additional details for this exact challenge. I was going in the same direction that Namita was in your other post, so if this is not correct, we need to better understand.

When using MS Project and trying to import the plan into servicenow The information in the Resource Name field in project does not populate the Assignee field in Servicenow.  I had to create another field and map it to the Assignee field.  I was told I needed to submit an enhancement for this to work.
