Multiple Expense lines are created on approving a Time Card

Hello, community,

On approving a time card, I see that sometimes 4 expense lines are created on the associated task record.
However, the actual amount is calculated on only One Expense line and all other Expense line Amount is $0.

Hi,

 

Do you have single Time Card logged against the Task? 

  • A Time Card represent time logged by an user for a week. 
  • When Time Card get approved and processed, it create single Expense Lines
  • If th Time Card week falls on month end, then system generate two seperate Expense Lines per month. 
  • If you have configured multiple Rate Type, there could be multiple expense lines per rate type. 

These points will help you connect dots and find reason behind multiple Expense Lines for a Time Card.

Thanks for your reply.

Time card was filled for the 5th month, against single task by only one user.
Rate type is only one.

Even then, there were multiple expense lines generated.
