Is there a possibility to print Gantt Chart from the Project Workspace?

Hello Team,

Below is the screenshot of the New Project Workspace, I don't find any option to export/Print the Gantt Chart.

Old Planning Console: In this we have an option to Print the Gantt Chart.

Do we have any other option to get an export/ print the Gantt Chart in new Project Workspace?

It's really, really poor that this can't be done.

It makes the platform unusable, I have stopped using it.

Can you please confirm whether this is on the development roadmap? Clearly this functionality is something most (if not all) customers are desperately seeking, would be great to know whether this feature will come and how soon.

Just for the heck of it, I used Build Agent / Now Assist in IDE to build a custom Gantt Export (in PNG as well as in editable PPT shapes), integrated into the Project Workspace. It's not the prettiest of results (didn't tweak much), but for three hours' work, I would say not bad.

I agree with the other comments that it's a feature that is severely lacking in PW, and we've had customers complain about this quite loudly.

Hi everyone,

With credits to my friend Claude, here's a complete VBA macro you can paste into an Excel module (Alt+F11 → Insert → Module). It reads task data from the active sheet, opens PowerPoint, and draws each Gantt bar as an actual native PowerPoint shape (rounded rectangle), plus a progress-fill overlay, task labels, and a date axis with gridlines — so everything stays fully editable afterward in PowerPoint.

I am in the inbound product manager for Project Workspace. I am preparing documentation to post on the community for roadmap items. The good news, exporting the GANTT is on our roadmap! There are a lot more details with upcoming capabilities as well as a new UI. I will have official documentation posted and timelines as well in the upcoming days.
