Curious to know if anyone is using 'On Hold' or 'Deferred' states for Project.
If so, what OOTB states are you mapping those to? We had those states in place, but with one of the upgrades (I believe London) - selecting one of those states now results in an error because it considers those states custom and to continue using those values, I believe the fix is it must be mapped to a numerical value for one of the existing OOTB existing states. I hope this makes sense...please let me know if any additional info needed and what is working for you respective to On Hold/Deferred! THANK YOU!

Hi Namita,
I'm very interested in an On-Hold state for projects as well. Is there any update on when and how this is coming?
Thanks,
Mike

Hi All - my company is faced with this situation as well. If we try to change the state from 'Work in Progress' to 'Deferred' in the Madrid release - the state reverts back to 'Work in Progress' and the message asks that we change all project tasks to the 'Pending' state and then change the project state to 'Pending'. This will revert the % complete on tasks and the project to 0 and I'm unsure of other effects. Is this the only work-around? At this point, we can't wait for a future release to address this use case. Thanks.
