We are trying to figure out if the Budget column within the financial tab in the Project Workspace can be recalculated. Right now we understand that the budget is grouped into two cost type and expense type based on the Budget allocation attribute which is default to the expense type. Our primary question is how can we populate a different value into this field/column and will it break any other calculations which rely on Budget. We understand that the Budget field can be entered in two ways: 1. On the financial action of project record 2. Budget entered manually on Budget allocation in the financials tab.
Can we autopopulate this Budget column to be something else?
