Project Tasks not appearing in the Project Planning Console

We upgraded from Istanbul to Kingston Patch 2 and now there are some projects that do not show the project tasks in the Planning Console.  I could not troubleshoot this issue and I was hoping someone would know why this is happening.

The Project has tasks but when we go into the Planning Console for the project there is nothing shown.

We finally resolved this issue.  We discovered that one of the user's who was assigned a task in the project had a space at the end of their name.  Once that was corrected everything worked as expected.  That also explained why the issue was only happening in some projects and not all.  That same user was only assigned tasks in a few of the projects.

Hope that helps.

We recently started having the same issue with several projects that have been working correctly for several months.  This is not occurring on all project but we have not been able to identify a reason why some of them no longer display the task in the planning console.  Any insight is greatly appreciated.

I have figured out the problem on our side.  It had to do with a user's Live Profile.  If a user that is assigned to the project task has a corrupt Live Profile, that profile will prevent the project tasks from showing in the project console.

What I had to do was to find out which user had the corrupt Live Profile.  By corrupt I mean the user had a leading or trailing space in their first or last name.  Once I found the user and since we are pulling this information from AD, I had our AD group remove the leading or trailing space in the user's name and then refreshed the account from LDAP within ServiceNow.  Once the trailing or leading space was removed the project tasks shows.

Having the same issue.  Seems localized to one or two of my users.

I exported the project (xml) and imported into the Dev instance - everything shows up.  Wondering if I should just export the Dev project and import back into Production.
