Hello Community,
for project task I have a business rule that force users to enter time worked before changing the state to close complete.
This works ok however in the planning page, when trying to close complete a task from there, it displays a non user friendly message, looks like this message is displayed after the BR is aborted. In platform view this message is not displayed.
My requirement is to display a more user friendly message stating, please enter a time worked entry.
Also, when the message above is displayed, the workspace is stuck in saving state, forcing me to refresh the page, I want to avoide this too.
Would somebody know how to acomplish this?
Thanks in advance!

Did you ever solve this issue? I am fighting the same issue of abort messages not bubbling up from business rules.

Hello @Thomas Geesman
I never found a solution, in fact, BRs don't apply to planning page which means I cannot enforce validation rules on the planning page, very annoying. At least when I was in Washington version.
I am currently investigating for example how to enforce users to fill out mandatory fields in planning page.
For example when you can add a task and leave all fields empty even if they are mandatory.
If you ever find out let me know.
Best Regards.

Thanks for the reply! I am fighting very similar things with the planning page. Hopefully workspace gets some improvements from SN.
