Project Workspace - Project Search Button Removed?

I was surprised to learn from SN Support that the project Search button in PW was removed in Q2 2025 release. Our project managers use that search all the time. Before I communicate this to our userbase, I want to ensure this is, indeed, the case. 

Received the following from ServiceNow support recently...

Good Day!!
It was confirmed by our product team that
The search feature was removed deliberately by the development team in the Project Workspace Q2 2025 release.
The PW 6.2.0 does not contain the search button OOB.
It was removed because there is already a filter icon present in the same header (which does the same thing as search).

Therefore the search button was just a redundant option present in the workspace.

You can use the Filter button to look for projects in the Workspace.
If you still wants the search functionality back, please raise an enhancement request.

You have official response from the Product team stating that it was removed and it is no longer available on your instance. What exactly are you expecting us to say and what will be the result? 

If I now say: the button will be back soon, will you we communicating that? 

The Product team removed the button, because the functionality is already there, just not like you were used to. That's the only thing you can communicate.

Perhaps I should have more clearly communicated that I'm looking for validation from folks who have already upgraded to Q2 2025. Is the Search button removed from your view? Can someone confirm?

Yes, it's gone. Just like you see yourself and what ServiceNow told you they did. Why would your update be any different than the update others get?
