Project Workspace Resource Assignment for Multiple Project Tasks

Hi.

I am hoping to be able to assign a single resource to multiple project tasks within Project Workspace.

i.e. We have a build phase but this is broken down in to 6 project tasks where we want our resources assigned. Is there anyway I can easily assign a resource to all 6 of these project tasks without having to assign them to each task individually. Would prefer not to assign them to the overarching build task as we want to be able to see the specific tasks/dates.

If it's the same user, why not just assign him to the build task and automate it from the task level itself to assign her/him to all the other tasks?
