"Copy Story" function retain the Story Points in the copy version

If you have a story with scrum task points and use related links option Copy Story it will copy the current points to the new story in the "Story Points" field.

Greetings, this related the Point field in story, when we create a copy from current story using the "Copy Story" User Action, it will create a new story copying all the details. Should it do same for the Points or it need to keep it blank when copying over? if the old story have 10 , it will copy this value to the new story.

A baseline ServiceNow instance will populate the points in the new story created via the Copy to story related link. If the story is exactly the same, then the effort required is also the same. If you copy a story and then change it (description, acceptance criteria etc.) so that it requires a new point-estimate then you can just empty the points field of the new story.

Just to update, I noticed this was happening due to the customization, hence the field become read-only when they add scrum task. Not really an issue.
