Resource Assignments remain after project is closed.

We migrated from Resource Plan to Resource Assignment last month and I have a question about functionality.

We plan our resources for the entire fiscal year (7/1 to 6/30).  When we migrated, the resource plans that were evenly distributed for each month became resource assignments evenly planned for each month (no problem here).  However, we noticed that when the project closes, the resource assignment hours remain in the months after the project closed, which then shows the resource as being assigned to something that doesn't exist anymore.

What is supposed to happen to resource assignments that are beyond the closure of a project?  If the project closes in November, but the resource has hours assigned in December and January, I would expect Dec. & Jan. to be cancelled, closed, cleared, something, but not still assigned as they appear to be.

Hi @gjz what is the current release you have? as per the Zurich release note, the resource assignments data should be aligned with the project end date.
