Hi All
I am trying to create a visualisation of Resource Assignments (RAs) that breaks down 'Unassigned' RAs by Role and Month. Seems easy enough. However what I can't figure out is how to find where the RA is broken down across the months.
If I go to the Resource Management Workspace and choose the 'Unassigned Assignment Requests' view, I can see at the bottom a list of unassigned tasks with start & end dates and then a calendar of how many Person Days are allocated to each for each month
| Role | Task | Start | End | Task Effort | Jan | Feb | Mar | etc |
| Business Analyst | Demand 01 | 01/01/26 | 28/02/26 | 10 | 5 | 5 | ||
| Architect | Demand 01 | 01/02/26 | 31/05/26 | 40 | 10 | 10 | 10 | |
| Business Analyst | Demand 02 | 01/02/26 | 30/05/26 | 30 | 7.5 | 7.5 | 7.5 |
What I can't seem to do is get at those values on the right hand part of the table. What I would like to be able to do is create the below (which takes the total number of days requested for each role by month - so Business Analyst 5 days for Demand 01 + 7.5 for Demand 02 = 12.5 days):
| Role | Jan | Feb | Mar | etc |
| Business Analyst | 5 | 12.5 | ||
| Architect | 10 | 10 | 10 |
And then produce a stacked column chart that shows this data like this (which is what I have managed to get to):
But trended by the total aggregated effort in each month (not by start date as it is in that example)
Can anyone help me? Clearly the data exists somewhere, but I can't figure out where.
UPDATE:
I have been playing around with the Attribute Aggregate Monthly Effort table, but this only seems to contain items that have been Approved or Assigned to an actual Employee?
Thanks
Ben
