Resource manager to approve timecard

Hi guys,we have a requirement to give resource manager to also approve the timecards as currently only project manager and user manager can approve it.Can anyone help how can resource manager also approve timecards.

Actually i also had the same doubt because i had more question that resource manager is just a role or we have it as a field in any table like we have project manager field in project table?bcuz the requirement is they want resource manager to approve timecards so do we have that in any table?
