Resource Plan migration of customized allocation instead of even allocation

Dear Community,

I need to migrate Resource Plans to Resource Assignments. Based on the documentation, the Allocation spread is always Even. Our Resource Plans has some customisations for monthly values, like 3 FTE for January, 6 FTE for February, then 3 FTE for March again. The migration script works as mentioned, like after the migration, all month will have 4 FTEs (evenly spread) in the Resource Allocation. We need to keep the original monthly values. Does anybody else experienced this issue, what was the solution?

Hi Gergely,

If you have created a resource plan on a group and with the spread mentioned above(3 FTE for January, 6 FTE for February, then 3 FTE for March), it will evenly spread the effort evenly across the 3 months for all the members of the group. So, what you mentioned is correct and each month will have 4 FTEs.

Exactly, our problem is that several thousands of resource plans are affected, so we will lose data. Can you suggest any solution for this issue?
