Hi All,
In a Helsinki Service now instance, I see it_demand_manager role and demand_manager roles but the description in demand_manager role is given as to use it_deman_manager instead of demand_manager. please let me know the significance of the same when both the roles are available out of the box.
Thanks
Moulik

Perhaps "it_demand_management" role is not OOTB role and was created manually on your instance.
Was there any developer before you found out about these roles? This may explain the situation.

Hi Moulin,
Both demand_ user and demand _manager are legacy roles replaced by it_demand_user and it_demand_manager. You should only use the demand roles starting with "it_".
There is more info at docs.servicenow.com
Thanks,
Todd

The reason this was changed was to enable the capabilities of teamspaces. IT_x_x is for the primary "space" of the PPM application where other teamspaces would have (for example) teamspace1_demand_manager

Hi Emily,
Can you please explain a bit further regarding the capabilities of the teamspaces and the use of it_demand_manager instead of demand manager
Thanks
