scenario plan for capacity

Hello everyone,

I believe there might be a way to create a scenario plan for capacity.
Is there something I might be missing when trying to include capacity while creating a scenario in the Strategic Portfolio Workspace?

At this time, capacity is not built directly into scenario planning in Strategic Portfolio Workspace. Scenario plans are focused on modeling and comparing investments, costs, and benefits against strategic objectives, while the Capacity tab is a separate view for analyzing supply vs. demand, allocations, and utilization.

You’re not missing a configuration, the two are designed to work together rather than being combined. A typical approach is:

  1. Use Scenario Planning to create and compare portfolio strategies.

  2. Then review the Capacity view to validate resource feasibility for the scenario you want to advance.

To put it briefly, the capacity view offers a reality check on the resources, whereas scenario planning aids in the strategic what-if analysis.
