Scrum burndown charts

I am managing an Agile project using service now. I would like to know how the burn down charts are getting updated in service now. We update the status of each story depending on the progress daily from ready to in progress, ready for testing. But the burn down chart shows a straight line throughout the sprint and then drops only when it is marked as complete.

I would like to know how the burndown charts can be updated based on the daily progress.

Echoing Tara's statement from 2020, and exact same scenario question.  Is the burndown itself ONLY combining start/finish dates, or is there a way to 'exclude' stories in specific states?  We see the same cliff as others are identifying, thus rendering the current burndown chart function unusable.

Any way to edit this at the script include level, or are there plans on adding filtering to the widget itself, down the road?  Potentially add checkboxes, to showcase sprint burndown, as a whole, and by individual stages?

Currently we are not updating burndown chart based on story states but I get your pain points. We will discuss and address this in future releases.

Hello Prashant,

Is it possible to do Agile 2.0 sprint dashboard domain separated? If yes, please guide me how to do this.

Thanks in advance.

Agile sprint dashboards are PA dashboards and they can be domain separated. Please refer to this documentation link: https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/utah-now-intelligence/page/use/performance-analytics/concept/c_PA...

Thanks for your reply,

In the Agile sprint dashboards, I just found that the sprint burnup and sprint burndown these two are configured with UI pages and UI macros. is this possible to do domain separation for UI pages and UI macros. Please share me related links for this.
