SPM - Agile development

Hi all,

How SPM and agile development are related?

I read that agile allows to use sprint, backlog, user stories and so on but I do not get the link with SPM.

I know that projects can be managed with agile, but how it works?

Many thanks,

Tommaso

Hi Sai Venkatesh,

Thank you but I do not understand how agile and SPM are connected concretely in the platform?

Can you please support?

thanks and regards,

Tommaso

Hi @Tommaso2

SPM helps  to plan, prioritize, and manage initiatives and portfolios to achieve business objectives by

defining Strategy

Prioritizing investments(demands)

Allocating resources(resource management)

Here Agile comes into picture

when we are executing the strategy(strategy can be epics , projects....)

we can use agile methodology to deliver work in different artifacts.

Stories

Epics

Thanks and Regards

Sai Venkatesh

Ok thank you and how it works concretely on the platform?

I mean: let's imagine that a new project is created, I select "agile" as project execution type.

After that what happens? I am allowed to create new stories for that project in the agile board and it is possible to start working on backlog, epics and so on?

regards and thank you,

Tommaso
