SPM Demand Assessment - How to Allow Re-submission of Assessment

OOTB, after submitting an assessment for demand, can the respondent revise their answers after they clicked "Submit"? If we want to make this happen, where and how can we configure it, are there any codes/ business rules to control this?

Many thanks!

Hi @SimKunW ,

Hope you are doing well.

This functionality is not available out of the box.  After user submits the response, it is considered as the user's final response; since this is not awaiting for anyone's approval it cannot be rejected or returned back.

Nonetheless, I understand this could stem from end-user, particularly in cases where responses are submitted without careful thought or due to some reason they want to change the response...

However, in most of the organizations, these stakeholders are also part of the discussion to approve the demands using the demand workbench (screenshot below). In the demand workbench, it is possible to move the bubble ......

While this may not directly address your specific point, it offers a way to achieve the desired outcome without requiring any customization.

Have a great weekend!

Thank You!

Hi @SimKunW , Namita is right - the "Out of the Box" assessment system doesn't offer this functionality.  However, have you looked at how Scoring Frameworks in SPM Pro's Strategic Planning Workspace work?  They allow values once entered to continue to be revised using the 'Scoring' page.  This is a great way of ensuring information historically provided via Assessments can be captured and actively maintained, so you know they are up-to-date.
If the provided scoring frameworks don't reflect the questions you want to ask or the calculation you want to do - don't worry!  A ServiceNow Partner could help you set that up in no time.  Feel free to ping me.
