SPM Export to PowerPoint

Is the New Project Workspace required to use the SPM export to PowerPoint functionality?  I know it is referenced in a couple of places but I wanted to confirm that there is not a way to configure the classic version.

Happy New Year @Michelle Alexan .

You can export project as well as project status report using the Microsoft PowerPoint template. It is not clear from your question that which one is your ask hence I am providing the answer for both.

Project Status Report:

Exporting project status report in the form of Microsoft PowerPoint is available via new project workspace and from the classic project workspace as well.

Screenshot below shows the project status report export using PowerPoint template from classic project workspace.

Export Project:

Export of project using the PowerPoint template is available only in the new project workspace.

As you might already noticed that new project workspace is being enhanced in every release. Starting Tokyo, it also provides the RIDAC functionality.

For more details, please refer to Tokyo -- Project Workspace Release Notes.

Hello @Namita Mishra , I use this opportunity to tell you that I tested the 2 exports and it works fine.

But I was surprised to discover that the generated PPT file is automatically attached to the project without any message or warning. As a bad side effect, we could land with many attachments never used and increasing the size of the plaftorm,

So, do you know if there is a way to  make this "attachment" optional ?

Is there a way to export to PPT the Demand  information in the same way we make it for project ?

Thanks in advance for any insight
