SPM Integration with Microsoft Teams / Microsoft 365 – What capabilities are available?

Hi Community,

I am exploring Microsoft's integration capabilities with ServiceNow and noticed that ServiceNow provides dedicated integrations for ITSM and HRSD with Microsoft Teams / Microsoft 365. These integrations support features such as Virtual Agent, notifications, approvals, knowledge access, request creation, and conversational experiences.

However, I have not been able to find an equivalent SPM (Strategic Portfolio Management) for Microsoft 365 / Teams plugin or documentation.

I would like to understand:

  1. Are there any native Microsoft Teams integrations available for SPM?
  2. Can SPM approvals (Demand, Idea, Project, Investment Funding, etc.) be approved directly from Teams notifications?
  3. Can SPM notifications be delivered to Teams out of the box?
  4. Are any Now Assist for SPM capabilities available through Teams?
  5. Can Microsoft 365 Copilot interact with SPM data similar to ITSM/HRSD scenarios?
  6. Has anyone implemented SPM use cases in Teams using native capabilities or custom solutions?
