The system doesn't allow us to preview and commit update sets which contain the changes made on dev.

Getting the following message while trying to preview and commit the update set from dev to prod "update set preview and commit are unavailable because the system is currently upgrading, click here for the upgrade monitor", please note that we never initiated the upgrade, as this is self-hosted environment.

any useful information is highly appreciated.

Hi Mohammed,



Did you accidentally try to load, preview the update sets when the instance is getting upgraded to some patch or hotfix etc.



Check that in upgrade history and monitor and if yes then it is not best practice to do any changes to the instance if it is getting upgraded.

thanks for your feedback, as i mention earlier we never initiated upgrade of instance from last six months. i don't no why we are getting this message.

please note that we just clone the development instance to production. everything is working fine, but when we are trying to commit the new update set in production its giving the above message.


I accidentally load update set during patch upgrade and got same error...what to do?
