Time card management- How time card state can be processed

Hi Team,

There is an issue around timecards state, timecards raised for non-restricted projects are being processed & timecards which are raised for restricted projects are not being processed, showing still in approved state. Can you suggest, how this has been configured

I am a bit confused about terminology, what does restricted and non-restricted projects mean? Could you provide more details on this? Or are you referring to project and non-project time cards?

Restricted is a field with drop down values Yes/No on project record & raised time cards for restricted project are not being processed.

I am not familiar with this particular field on project record - is it by any chance custom?

If it is then you need to check with whomever has done the configuration so they could advise what changes they applied and where.

I could not say from the top of my head what component could be that prevents this from happening, but look into Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes applied to time sheet/time card tables but also project to understand what might drive this behaviour.

Also, have a look in the time sheet policy, maybe something has been modified there as well.

Processed time cards are usually those that are attached to a type of task (such as project, project task) whilst Approved ones are time cards linked to non-task type activities, such as time off, admin, etc.

What is the Category of time cards of those that appear as Approved which should be associated to the restricted projects?
