Unable to Generate Resource Capacity in Strategic Planning Workspace

Hi Community,

I am trying to generate the resource capacity in the Strategic Planning Workspace, but I am unable to view any records.

  • I selected the Start Month (Sep 2025) and End Month (Oct 2025).

  • Chosen a Group (Servicenow Agile).

  • Clicked on View Capacity and also tried Regenerate capacity, but I still get the message “No records to display. No capacity details found. Try again with different combination.”

Here is the screenshot for reference:

Could you please guide me on what configuration might be missing?

  • Do I need to configure roles, calendars, or allocations separately before generating capacity?

  • Is there any setup required in Resource Management (like defining capacity in hours/days for resources) before it reflects here?

Any suggestions or steps would be really helpful.

Thanks in advance!

Hi @sagar0711 ,

Verify the following:

  • Verify users have pps_resource role.
  • User record exists in Employee Profile (sn_employee_profile) table.
  • For generating capacity based on group, role, skill (or any other attribute), make sure the primary attributes fields Primary Resource Group, Primary Resource Skill or Primary Resource role in sn_employee_profile table is not empty.

Thanks

Anand
