Hello everyone!
I’m Hayley Alexander, Inbound Product Manager for Project Workspace here at ServiceNow.
We’re continuing to evolve the Next Experience for Project Status Reports, and I’d love to hear directly from you about how you’re currently using them.
Specifically, I’m looking to understand:
-
How your teams are creating, managing, and delivering project status reports today
-
What’s working well in the current experience
-
Current pain-points you're experiencing
Your feedback will help us shape upcoming improvements and ensure the experience fits seamlessly into how your teams work.
If you’re using (or have recently started using) the Next Experience Project Status Reports, please reply to this post. I’ll reach out directly to set up a short follow-up conversation.
Thank you for helping us make Project Workspace even better!

I echo dsweet's 2nd comment. Also, the functionality seems like a regression compared to the classic status reports. 1. We use the out of the box functionality that shows only open RIDAC items but the ability to click a tab to view completed one. Now the out of the box report in the Next Experience just shows all. 2. Also, the decimal precision keeps blown out unnecessarily. 3. The colors and general look were removed making this look like a draft and not a published status report. We intend to keep using the classic status report due to these reasons.

Hello @chrisnicula thank you for the feedback!
1. When you head over into RIDAC, you'll be able to select in the side menu what risks you'd like included in the status report.
2. We are working to fix this issue currently.
3. I completely understand. In the upcoming Q1 release, the Docs team is releasing enhancements to tables, colors to give the report a more polished look. If you're interested in meeting 1x1 to see the new updates, please let me know and we can schedule a meeting to demo the latest functionality.
Thanks!

Thanks. The functionality I was mentioning though about the RIDAC items was that it would only show open but gave the easy option to show completed on the classic status report. Now it just shows both and takes up more real estate. I do understand the ability to flag which to show on the status report or not.
Sounds good on the color and formatting enhancements coming for the OoB report. I will look for that in the release info.

Hello - thanks for the feedback!
1. Yes! You can allow edits on status reports by heading to the details page and updating the settings. This will help walk you through how to enable edits: https://www.servicenow.com/docs/r/it-business-management/project-workspace/update-status-report-proj...
2. Can you submit a case task for that issue? I'll have the engineering team take a look to see why that's happening.
Thanks!

Thanks Hayley, I was able to find the edit status option after I sent this, so that was a user error.
I will submit a case ticket for the tags issue as recommended.
