What is the difference between pps_admin role and the new Kingston it_pps_admin role?

Trying to figure out the difference between these 2 roles.
What did they take away from the older roles and add to this new role?

HI Mike, I believe this is a brand new role which was not there in earlier releases. for Project portfolio suite, there was only 1 roler- Portfolio manager (It-portfolio_manager) . they added this 2nd role in Kingston
