What is the purpose of the "Normalization Input" field on the Assessment Metric Definitions records?

What is the purpose of the "Normalization Input" field on the Assessment Metric Definitions records? The helper text says "Value used for normalization score" but I'm hoping someone here has a more detailed explanation for this field's purpose.

Ah ok. Is this different from the Order field then?

Found it 🙂   Order is the order, but Value appears to be used when you write a script that references a choice list:
