Auto-Save Work Notes and Customer Communication

Is there a way to enable auto-saving of Customer Communication and Work Notes in ServiceNow.  This is especially relevant for support agents who lost very detailed notes sometimes if their connection drops or the Task form reloads for some reason.  Thanks!

I don't know of any means to address that. As a NOW TSE, I and others experienced the same with HI occasionally. We changed our habits to save often, or 'copy' our work in another app, and once ready to save verify our work was saved.

It is not recommended and there is no OOTB functionality available for this.  The best is save time to time. The reason why it is not recommended, 

 

if there are 100 agents writing something on incident records and it auto saved means Information go in DB and then pull back, a lot of resources required and can impact on system performance.
