Hello,
I have a Xanadu instance. I have read the release notes and followed what I believe is written here.. I had started an normal change, rejected it as an admin through a CAB Approver and the state is reverted to new, but am still unable to change the type.. I have checked my ACLs and do not see the new access control change_request.type .
Do I need to activate a plugin? Is there additional work in including this ACL or do I have to create it?
Is it possible too that the flow is not re-starting? I have looked at it and it appears to send an email and end if it is rejected.
Modify change request type
- A new ACL for change_request.type has been added that allows modification of the Type field in change request when the change request is in a New state and no approvals have been generated yet for it.
- In case of Standard change request, you can modify the type of the change request from Standard to Normal or Emergency, if the state of a change request is New.
- In case of Normal or Emergency change request, you can modify the type of the change request from Normal to Emergency or vice versa if the state of a change request is New.
- If a Normal or Emergency change request is rejected, the state of the change request is set to New. As the state of the change request is New, you can modify the type of the change request again. For example, if your Emergency change request is rejected on the grounds that the change request is Normal, you can modify the Type of the change request to Normal and resubmit the change request.

It might be that ACL was skipped in the upgrade, please check the upgrade logs.
Second, try this is PDI, and if you suspect the flow, go to flow executions and re-run this flow.

I believe this is the expected behavior now. I’m currently in Yokohama and tested your use case, but I was surprised to see that the change type is non-editable. This means we need to cancel the current change and submit a new one.
