Good morning,
I am trying to update the Service account credentials on a Mid Server. Currently, I use a local account that was created during the installation and setup of the midserver software. See Figure 1 below. The server is operational and online. However, when I use a network account (which works on other mid servers that were set up), and start the service, I get the error message in Figure 2.
The account I am trying to use does not have administrator privileges on this machine.
The account does have the ability to log on as a service.
The account does have full access to the folder where the mid server software is installed, as mentioned in this post.
I restarted the VM after updating the credentials.
Any suggestions for troubleshooting would be appreciated.

Looks like something you need to correct on the Windows Server.

You could install a second mid on the same host to test if the account errors on it as well. If so, it sort of proves you should be focused on the account set up. You could check if the account can start any other services on the host. Assuming everything points toward the account, remove access for the account on the host entirely and add it back in. I might even reboot the host in between.
