Export Sets - Delimiter change

Hello,

 

For Export Sets, is there a way to change the delimiter from comma to a different character like a pipe?

Hi Eric,

 

What do you mean by "Export Sets"? and do you have steps to reproduce?  The Export features (records and update sets) use XML.

Hi Bert,

 

I am referring to System Export Sets -> Administration -> Export Sets.  The Format field allows for several options, one of which being CSV.  However, I have been asked for a scheduled export where the data uses a pipe delimiter instead of comma. 

 

I don't believe there is an option to change this especially since a lot of the older community posts agree, but wanted to see if anything had changed.

Hi,

 

you can't. servicenow sets the delimiter as comma (,) for the columns.
