Hi @imrankhan02,
Nice, that’s actually the best way to learn ServiceNow: just dive in and explore. 👌
If you’re getting started, here’s a simple way to explore without feeling overwhelmed:
- Navigation & UI → Play around with forms, lists, filters, and personalization
- Tables & Data Model → Check tables like incident, task, cmdb_ci to understand relationships
- Flow Designer → Try building small automations (super useful in real projects)
- Service Catalog → Create a sample catalog item with variables
- Reports & Dashboards → Build a quick report from incident data
- Business Rules / Client Scripts → Start with small use cases (like auto-setting fields)
If you’re using a PDI (Personal Developer Instance), break things freely; that’s where real learning happens.
If you're preparing for CSA, try connecting what you explore with exam topics; it makes concepts stick much better.
You can refer to this article for the CSA exam once you have explored and practiced in PDI:
Tips for Passing the ServiceNow CSA exam !
All the very best!!!😉
If you find my answer useful, please mark it as helpful and correct. 😊
