Hide Email Attachments and Worknotes

I have to hide Worknotes and Email Attachments and update the banner of certain records based on conditions in Workspace. Trying to implement this functionality using Access Control Lists. Please suggest any other way

you can always use field level READ ACL on work notes and table.None READ ACL on sys_attachment table.
