To do a capstone project, you must receive the instructions in your course,
You can request for the instance.
and then follow the lab instructions and do the project.
It is easy and I am sure you can do it quickly.

Im just trying to get started on my capstone project. I've completed the SN system admin course as well and want to practice on this project. I was able to signup and receive my Dev Instance. When I log into my Dev PDI I see the familiar instance screen (the same as used during the SN course), but it instantly it switches over to the App Engine Studio screen. How can I get back to the dev instance that shows SERVICENOW ALL FAVORITES HISTORY

Login to developer site.
click on your profile.
change user
to admin
Save and login to pdi.

I tried the above steps Atul (switched to IT admin ) with no luck, as soon as I log in the page switches to app engine.
