Notification Does Not Trigger As Expected

Greetings everyone,
Please assist, I have create a notification which I want to trigger when a demand record is created or assigned to field changes. I can't figure out on why the notification only triggers on update but not on insert. Please check the configuration below and advise:

Hi @Kamva,
I can see that your notification is associated with Demand and the trigger is Assigned to. Demand is extending Task but SPM doesn't use the Assigned to filed, instead there are Stakeholders, Demand/Portfolio managers etc.
Check the Demand table's dictionary:

So the Assigned to might be wporking for Incidents, RITMs, etc. but for Demand it doesn't.
Change the trigger in your notification to Demand manager changes or Demand manager is not empty and you will see it will work immediately ;))
