Related List 'Request' tab not populating with linked records

Hi all. For background...I have added 'Change Requests>Parent', 'Requests>Parent', and 'Requested Items>Parent' related lists tabs to our PRJ record forms.

I can click "New" in the Change and Requested Items tabs, go through and create a record, go back to my PRJ record and the CHG and RITM records auto appear in their respective tabs. The 'Requests' will not. I've tried in my PDI, and in our Dev and no luck. The CHG and RITM records do have a reference field "Parent" that auto-fills with the associated PRJ record. The REQ record does not have that reference field.

 What am I missing?

Hi @davidvetter

The reason could be that the PRJ and RITM tables don’t have a M2M relationship, meaning one record cannot be seen on the other. Please check the OOTB relationship and see how it’s configured.

Hi @davidvetter ,

OOB Request also have a parent field which is pointing to task table.

Please refer snip below and you can bring that field using Configure list layout.

To check why the Request is not showing under related list of PRJ record. For that you need to check how the relationship is configured and make changes accordingly.

System Definition->Relationships

Search for "Requests" under name and Applies to Table: "PRJ table name" and Query From: "Request (sc_request)"

Check the script if it is correctly configured.
