Hi everyone,
Has anyone encountered an issue where scheduled reports are sending out the wrong attachment?
Users are receiving a report_view ACL PDF instead of the actual report they’re supposed to get. I tested this with my own user account and I’m getting the exact same result.

Hi @athavichith ,
ServiceNow is sending out a file that describes the permissions (ACLs) for viewing reports. That usually means the system couldn’t generate the report properly, so it defaulted to sending the ACL file instead.
Double‑check the report setup
Make sure the scheduled report is pointing to the right report and the right format (PDF, Excel, etc.). Sometimes the link gets broken or corrupted.
Check user permissions
The people receiving the report need to have permission to view it. If they don’t, ServiceNow may send the ACL file instead of the actual data.
Test as an admin
Run the report manually as an admin and export it. If it works fine, then the issue is definitely permissions or roles for the other users.
Recreate the scheduled report
Sometimes the report definition itself gets corrupted. Try creating a fresh scheduled report with the same settings and see if that fixes it.
Look for version issues
If your instance was recently upgraded, this could be a bug tied to that release. In that case, you’ll want to open a support ticket with ServiceNow.

did you set Run as -> System Administrator on your scheduled report?
