I was wondering if the CSA retake exam is same as the first exam.

Hi, my understanding is that there is a pool of questions and so while you may see some of the questions from the original exam, it is unlikely that it will be exactly the same.

For (most) mainline certifications there is a pool of questions. So like Tony mentioned, it's highly unlikely that 100% of your exam will be the same. You might get some similar or exact same questions, though it is highly unlikely that all questions will be the same. It can happen of course (I did experience for one mainline exam that the retake was precisely the same), though unlikely.

My experience will surely helpful. I appeared for CIS - SIR exam and did 2 retakes and 1 main attempt. Yes I can 30-40% questions was same as previous attempts but rest looks always new or the sequencing of option was change but one thing is very clear the full paper and question from eBook only. So don't assume that retake will be same as main attempt.
