Hello Admins. How do I resolve the slow response time problem in the ServiceNow Platform?

Hi @RayETCHU 

is it pdi or client?

 

for pdi, nothing really.

 

for clients, investigation on some background jobs and health check will be needed.

 

also, how do you define slow response and at what situations? Loading pages or list, slow submission, …

 

you can ask ServiceNow via HI case for the heatlh check.

Is the slowness caused by the network, server, or browser?

See the Response time indicator

 

If you are referring to slow response time on the server due to tables with large data sets or frequent queries, table indexes can improve that piece: Create a table index

Hi @RayETCHU ,

 

If you are talking about your official environment - Better go for Health scan/Helath check service from ServiceNow. Rest there may be multiple reasons - Due to server, Due to your netwrok, due to some unnecessary files, Scheduled/background jobs etc so first step should be Investigation. Once investigation is done and you know the exact cause of the slowness then only you can think about solution.
