Certification

Hello everyone,

I’ve got my CSA certification in June this year and my CIS ITSM certification last week. I’m very comfortable with the platform and I wanna know what should I do next? Which certification should I get? Or if I should try to get some experience first

I'm not sure what your situation is, but if your goal is to find a job in the ServiceNow ecosystem, then the answer is definitely prioritize getting some experience.

The two certs you have are excellent. But if an employee has an option of two candidates, one with 2 certs and some experience, and the other with 3 certs and no experience, they will almost certainly pick the candidate with experience.

If you don't have any real life experience but only certifications, then I would always recommend experience. The reason is, that certifications doesn't bring any value without experience.

Get experience first, doing certs will not have any benefits. You got 2 cersts and now time to get experience. You can start contributing in community, start applying for jobs and also do some dummy projects.

Hi,

I always support experience over certifications. Its good to have certifications but if you work on some product and do the certification along with it, that is when you learn and understand it best.
