Hello

i have completed my e-learning (Xanadu) for CIS-SPM Exams and have obtained my vouchers which expires in 2026. I want to know
1) Is there a cut-off date for Xanadu version CIS Exam. 
2) If I miss Xanadu and the next version comes up, do I need to do the e-learning all over again? Will I be able to sit with my Xanadu knowledge?

Hi @gabrielmj 

Just to clarify, a voucher is valid for one year from the date of issue.

The last date to take the Xanadu version exam is 15th July. From 16th to 22nd July, there will be a blackout window, meaning you won't be able to book any online exams during that period.

Starting 23rd July, all online exams will be available only in the Yokohama version.

this means for any vouchers ending in 2026 having xanadu versions should take exam before 15th july  2025...and can not take in 2026..

I think there’s some confusion. A voucher is valid for one year from the date of issue. ServiceNow typically releases two major versions per year, so if you’re preparing for the exam based on the Xanadu version, the last date to take that version’s exam is 15th July.

However, your voucher itself will remain valid until 2026, depending on when it was issued — meaning you can still take a future version of the exam as long as your voucher hasn't expired.

my voucher was issued in june 24, 2025,...valid till june 24 , 2026...
the webassessor says to take exam before july 15 ...is confusing me to schedule before july 15 or

i can make up in 2026 as well ..before june 24 , 2026

Yes, you can take the exam in 2026, but it won’t be based on the Xanadu release. By then, the exam will be aligned with either the Yokohama or possibly the Zurich release, depending on the timing.
