Clarification Needed on Prerequisites for CIS–Data Foundations (CMDB & CSDM) Certification

Hello Team,

I am planning to take the Certified Implementation Specialist – Data Foundations (CMDB and CSDM) (CIS‑DF) exam. I have already completed the “Configuration Management Database (CMDB) Fundamentals” course, and my Now Learning portal is currently showing me as eligible to schedule the exam.

Before proceeding, I would like to confirm the following specifically regarding mandatory requirements:

1. Are there any mandatory trainings that must be completed prior to taking the CIS‑DF (CMDB and CSDM) exam?
2. Is the CSA (Certified System Administrator) or CAD (Certified Application Developer) certification required before attempting this exam?

I want to ensure that I meet all mandatory prerequisites and follow the correct learning path before registering for the certification.

1. No mandatory trainings required, if there was you would see a prerequisite before registration. 
2. CSA nor CAD is a prerequisite.

No there is no mandatory training for this, or I will say prerequisite you can directly book an exam but it is said that there are 5 training which help you to prepare for this exam including CMDB fundamental, CSDM, CMDB health , simulator training which help you to prepare this training.

CSA n cad both are not part of prerequisitesist list for this course.

Hi @lakshmi98se 

There is no mandatory training for CIS - Data foundation. You have to prepare properly as it is concept base exam.
