Cost of CAD

Hi,

Currently I am planning to get ServiceNow CAD. I have completed the Welcome course. I am seeing $500 for Scripting in ServiceNow Fundamentals and  Application Development Fundamentals. 

1. To complete the certification is it a compulsion to complete these courses?
2. Do you have to pay $500 for completing each course or single  $500 does give access to both the courses?
3. After completing these two fundamentals, do you need to pay for voucher again?

To obtain the ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification, completing the Scripting in ServiceNow Fundamentals and Application Development Fundamentals courses is not compulsory but highly recommended as they cover essential topics for the exam.

Regarding the cost:
- The $500 fee likely covers both courses, Scripting in ServiceNow Fundamentals and Application Development Fundamentals. You typically pay once for access to both courses.
- After completing these courses, you'll still need to purchase a voucher to take the certification exam. Completing the courses doesn't include the exam voucher.

In summary, while the courses are beneficial for exam preparation, they are not mandatory. The $500 fee likely covers both courses, and you'll need to separately purchase an exam voucher after completing the courses.

Atul: No , as it is pre- pre-requisite, you may skip as well , but CAD is mainly of scripting exam.

Atul: $500 is only for CAD Training and once you complete this training to get voucher you need to pay $350 plus taxes.

1. After completing these two fundamentals, do you need to pay for voucher again?

Atul: Yes .

Please take a look into the screenshot below-

Its the learning path for CAD. So these 2 courses are pre-requisite but not compulsory. 

Without purchasing the courses you wont be eligible to get  the voucher so you need to purchase Application Development Fundamentals On Demand by paying $500.
