CSA Expired

Hi,

I have completed my CSA certification 3 years back and I am now looking to do Data Foundation. My Doubt is since CSA certification has expired, I am aware that I should retake my CSA (Which has made me Sad). My question is in upcoming days is there any possibility of Delta exams?

Hello @Iswarya_Pugazh,

Per my understanding, you will need to retake the full exam for the CSA. The delta exam is only if your CSA is current and being renewed.

I believe you should be able to still take the CIS - Data Foundations, but just be warned that they most likely expect CSA base knowledge. I would at least review the CSA course before beginning on the data foundations path.

This approach should also help you stay within the window while the data foundations exam is still free.

Unfortunately once Certificate is expired nothing can be done but to retake the the certificate. I too had to retake CSA again this year. So delta exam here is no help here when Mainline certificate is expired.

Delta exams are to maintain active Mainline certificates, so need to lookout for delta exam in now learning platform. Zurich Delta is expected Jan-16 - April-16 2026 as per this link:

Few community members here reported CSA need to be completed before registering for this exam, I'm not sure.

Sorry, no. As others have said, deltas are not an option for you. You need to pay for, sit, and pass the CSA exam again.
