Hi
the short answer is no unless the hiring company has it as a demand. The CSA and the CAD is foundational understanding of the platform.
If my answer has helped with your question, please mark my answer as the accepted solution and give a thumbs up.

Hi
As a trainer, I’m happy to share my thoughts. From an organizational perspective, these days almost every company looks for candidates who have at least CSA and CAD certifications (for developer positions). These certifications help in building a better understanding of ServiceNow and establishing stronger relationships with the platform. However, they are not mandatory. Even without certifications, you can get a job if you have the right experience and knowledge.
Certifications add value to your CV and show that you have a defined skill set (there are many points that can be discussed around this, so please don’t take this otherwise). They also help your CV get shortlisted.
If my response proves useful, please indicate its helpfulness by selecting " Accept as Solution" and " Helpful." This action benefits both the community and me.

Hi
It depends company to company. job posting to postings. Some mention it as must to have CSA/CAD , some mention it good to have, some don't mention it all. so cant generalize it.

It is not Mandatory unless specified in Job Description.
But it is good to have and adds weight to your resume.
Accept the solution and mark as helpful if it does, to benefit future readers.
