I'm going through the Discovery Fundamentals OnDemand learning course and in Module 6 there is a task to create an iTunes Process Classifier, which I have done. However, I'm supposed to run a discovery against itom-df-windows (192.168.16.11) which does not actually exist on my personal development instance. At this point I have no idea how to actually complete and validate the task since the PDI that was created for this module doesn't seem to have the required system in the inventory to be able to run Discovery on. I don't know if that means I won't be able to complete the course or not which is a little frustrating.
Are there any suggestions about maybe a different PDI I should spin up that may have itom-df-windows, or perhaps a way I could bring that system into the inventory to be able to run Discovery against it? Right now I'm kind of at a loss.
Thanks,
Caleb

Hi @Caleb Cox
It needs to do inside Course provided Lab instance, not in your PDI.
Refer: Discover Fundamentals - Task 6: Create iTunes Process Classifier (Content)
KB0010509 How to Classify and Discover iTunes Running on a Windows Server
Solution:
How to Classify and Discover iTunes Running on a Windows Server
Ensure you have created an 'iTunes' process classification record in the discovery_classy_proc table in your instance and filled in the specific details on how to spot it in the Condition field and what type of record to create once found etc.
Navigate to CI Classification —> Processes > Create a new Process classification called iTunes
Relationship type should be Runs on::Runs and
Condition = Command | contains | iTunes.exe
Once you have created that process classification record, you then need to run Discovery against your MID Server by going to Discovery Schedules - Quick Discovery and entering your MID IP Address and selecting your MID Server in the reference field.
Once the discovery is complete there should be a iTunes application created in the related list on the Process Classifier record that is linked to your MID Server CI Record.
