For the OnVUE Pearson online exam, is an external webcam mandatory or built-in laptop camera enough?

I’m planning to take an online exam through OnVUE. Previously, for Webassessor exams, it was mandatory to use an external webcam and install specific software on the laptop. For OnVUE, do I need to install any software beforehand?
Additionally, if I have scheduled my exam for January 1st at 9:00 AM, how do I start the exam? Where should I go to begin, and what are the necessary steps to follow?

as per this link, the external camera is NOT required, just the laptop in-built camera:

CC: @Dan Bruhn @Allen Andreas FYI I cannot share the official ServiceNow site on the Pearson, if I do so, my reply is in the quaranteen and never published
