Hi @DS25

The only situation where payment is not required is if you have held a mainline certification for less than a year. But if you have been notified via email and/or an alert in the learning portal that payment is required, then yes, it is mandatory. If you don't pay, your cert(s) will expire and you will have to take the course(s) and exam(s) again.
