Hello all, question for the brain trust: I have a mid-server failover cluster with two mid servers. At one point I had to specify a default server. In testing the failover, when I took the default server down all orchestration activities started to fail due to lack of a default server being specified. How do you work around this?
Much thanks,
David

Hope someone out there can help. The password reset functionality uses sAMAccountname to query AD to reset the password. Our customer is set up to use the UserPrinciplName. Looks like sAMAccountName is hard-coded some where in the password reset functionality. Is there a simple way to change this to use UserPrincipalname beside writing custom code? Thanks all in advance.

Hi Oscar,
try https://jumpcloud.com/
Microsoft does provide a 180 day trial of it's windows server OS.
You can promote the server to a domain controller to run tests.
hope this helps.

the password reset activity is failing because you have to encrypt the password.
var encr = new GlideEncrypter();
var encrString = encr.encrypt( YOUR PASSWORD FIELD); //Encrypted password for use in the Set AD Password Activity. workflow.scratchpad.pass = encrString; //Set scratchpad password variable to the encrypted password
now set the password reset activity to ${workflow.scratchpad.pass}
since you have encrypted your password, it should work and should now allow AD to enable the account
