a) Are we able to get the link for slides presented?
b) Would there be a recording available for this lab as reference?

The demo and lab is really informative and thank you to both presenters. My question is how does ITBM Project Portfolio Management differ to other competitors like Atlassian Jira?

Hi - trying to follow along on the lab, but getting stuck right away. I've impersonated able, but there's no option to choose "Use the Application Navigator to open Favorites > Business Planner Home."

The favorites menu is the star icon in the navigator. The business planner home is the last item in the menu.

Hi Freya. Try to scroll down. The option Business Planner Home is the last option in the Favorites menu. The Favorties menu is the tab marked with a star.

@Freya What instance are you using? It seems that you are not exactly in the right instance. Did you use the following URL to get an instance?

Hi Prakash. It really boils down to the usage of one platform. If you are using ServiceNow for ITSM, you can seamlessly have development work aligned to ServiceNow's PPM and/or Agile Development 2.0. ServiceNow also have a Unified backlog where you can easily see any incidents/problems.etc along with stories under one backlog. What this provides is all users having access to understand the details of exactly what is going on and avoid any risk/conflicts. Of course, ServiceNow can also integrate easily with Jira, which can provide the connection to pipelines or version control. Hope this helps.

Yes - followed the link, asked for instance, logged in and ended up here: https://dev60080.service-now.com/nav_to.do?uri=%2Fhome.do%3F
I've tried to start over and when I say "request instance" I receive a confirmation on email and then nothing happens.

Hi Prakash,
We actually provide an Out of the Box connector to JIRA through our ServiceNow store - https://store.servicenow.com/sn_appstore_store.do#!/store/application/4fab4673db1893009a985404ce9619...
This offers bi-directional integration between both solutions and compliments customers who prefer to use both.

Hi , How are the Stakeholders being populated in the Demand.

There is a separate table for Stakeholders which allows you to align them to Portfolios.
Ad-Hoc stakeholders can also be added using the edit option

Correct as Damon mentioned. There is a stakeholder registry. You can add users to the stakeholder registry along with an assigned portfolio. You can also have more records for the same user but with different portfolios if needed. Here is more information on Populating the Stakeholder Registry.

Is it possible to send different assessments to different stakeholders?

Yes! There is a stakeholder registry. You can add users to the stakeholder registry along with an assigned portfolio. You can also have more records for the same user but with different portfolios if needed. In the demand, you can easily add more stakeholders to take the assessment, so long as you designate Yes in the assessment column.
Here is more information on Populating the Stakeholder Registry.

Yes, ServiceNow can be configured to send different assessments to different poeple however that would make it difficult to normalize all the answers to a cohesive score on the demand.

IT Business Management standard and pro licenses come with Performance Analytics. Some of the out of the box dashboads need Performance Analytics, some do not.
